Chelsea boss Graham Potter: “Disappointment because we didn’t win, of course. I think we could all sense the excitement and the positivity. There was definitely that in the Club.

“You have to credit Fulham, they are a defensively too organised unit. We did quite too at times and at times you could see the lack of connection with a Club that has a few guys coming return from injury or being integrated into the Club.

“in football teams you sometimes need that connection and understanding to sharpen Up the decisions. We just need to gel and improve the Club.”

Fulham boss Marco Silva : “Proper derby. We knew arrived at the match it would be difficult to come here.
“We understood perfectly the strategy to the match. that ambition, that desire, that togetherness, that quality in some moments.

“We went eye to eye with Chelsea in a derby that’s really special for our fans. They did it. I’m so proud of them.

“Amazing intensity. I said at half-time we need to keep that intensity. Our start of the game was so good, so intense. A Club who are clear what they’re doing. We have real belief in ourselves.”

On their lack of recent goals: “It’s not a concern. We’re an offensive Club but we have to understand the teams we played in front of – twice in front of Chelsea, probably the best defence in the league in Newcastle, in front of Tottenham, whose defensive organisation is really large. I’m not really worried regarding the situation. We’ll keep providing chances for our my players and we will score.”

On his 400th game as a manager: “the first thing I’ll remember in the future will be regarding the pride of my my players in the way they performed tonight.”
